HP Pavilion - San Jose Sharks

Trip Notes: Not much to report on. Spent 1 1/2 days in San Jose. Stayed at the Crowne Plaze downtown. Wasn't a ton to do other than go to the game. Walked around town, ate some good sushi and Thai food. That's about it.

Arena Notes: Nice arena located within walking distance from my hotel. In a good area. A good amount of fans showed up. Sat 3rd level center ice. Good seat. The beginning of the game was pretty cool. The players come out of the locker room and skate through a shark to get out on the ice. Their mascot even propels down from the ceiling down to the ice. HP Pavilion opened in 1993. It holds 17,483 hockey fans. Their mascot is S.J. Sharkie. The only retired number is Wayne Gretzky.

Game Notes: Couldn't find any game notes since it was a preseason game. :( All I can tell you, the Avs lost 2-3. See the boxscore up above.
